First of all, welcome to the best RS3 server, named Vortex. This guide will help you through the first steps on how to manage getting a decent weapons/armours so you can be armed and good to go on the first minutes ingame.
1- Once you complete the tutorial (recommended) and choose your gameplay mode, you can direct yourself to one of the floating bookcases which have all the stores/options you might need to advance through the server.
2- Best way to make money at the very beginning is Thieving (I know we hate that skill) but in Vortex is a really straightfoward skill and really easy to train plus gives good money all way to 99, or 200m xp if you going for that goal. Located NORTH-EAST of HOME.
3- So basically the shops are complete, you can either purchase them from the Floating Bookcases, or either buy them from GE, the ones that can be bought of course.
4- The grand exchange is located SOUTH of the home, and you can purchase tons of items from there, the one that can be bought has a quantity below the item and also it says Unlimited in some items. NOTE: Not all items can be bought from the GE.
5- Once you have purchased the needed Gear to kill mobs, would totally recommend doing slayer to get task according you level and fast leveling.
